I lead teams that protect national security, coach communities toward financial freedom, and help people find their voice. Not bad for a day's work.

Profile
"I lead Splunk's DoW Solutions Engineering team, where our work supports the real-time decisions of the armed services and the joint agencies that connect them."
My job is to make sure the engineers on my team are as mission-focused as the customers they serve.
I've spent over two decades in technical sales, at Oracle and Splunk / Cisco, and what has stayed constant is this: the best outcomes happen when people feel seen and heard, and are equipped to do their best work. That's how I lead my team and how I show up for my customers.
I'm known for being direct without being aggressive, decisive without being rigid, and transparent even when transparency is uncomfortable. I believe that trust is the foundation of every high-performing team, and I build it deliberately. A colleague once described my leadership style simply as “people-first” — I can’t think of a better summary.
Outside of my day-to-day, I speak at industry and defense conferences including GovSummit and DefenseTalks, where I bring the practitioner's perspective to conversations that matter. I'm also a proud #IAmRemarkable facilitator, helping people — especially women and underrepresented professionals — articulate their value. I'm passionate about making technology accessible, bringing practical lessons to my church and local communities so people outside of tech can benefit from it too.

I am one of approximately 3,000 certified #IAmRemarkable facilitators worldwide. Our signature event is a 90-minute workshop that empowers people to celebrate their achievements and develop self-promotion skills in the workplace and beyond — with a particular focus on women and underrepresented professionals.
I'm passionate about helping my community build financial confidence and long-term wealth. As a certified Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University facilitator, I've led multiple cohorts guiding participants through budgeting, debt elimination, and building a foundation for financial freedom. I've also partnered with the Montgomery County Housing Opportunities Commission's Family Self-Sufficiency program, leading workshops on money management strategies, debt reduction, and financing higher education.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Dr. Jasmine W. Brann, Do Write Today is on a mission to unlock community strengths through the power of literacy and love — providing scholarships and literacy care packages to those in need in the Washington, DC area. I'm proud to serve on its board of directors.
Visit dowritetoday.orgI speak at industry, government, and defense conferences. Topics include leadership in technical sales, women in technology, and DoW data strategy and security.
